CHRYSALIS MINISTRIES 1ST ANNUAL BRUNCH & SAFARI
Larry and Toni Johnson of Boerne, TX have graciously offered to let Team Chrysalis visit their private 50-acre conservation breeding center for rare species. The event will begin with arrival promptly at 11am when you will be shuttled to the main house where we will gather for a delicious brunch at 11:30. A vegetarian option will be available. During brunch we will be entertained by Andre Boada, founder of VinoCadre LLC & Co-founder of Six Twist Sparkling, sharing his knowledge of food & wine pairings. In addition, we will of course be sharing all that is happening with Team Chrysalis.
We will then break up into small groups and head out on our hour-long safari. You will see many breeds of African Antelope, Kangaroo, and Giraffe which will be over our shoulder as we dine!
The objective of this friend-raiser is to be just that…A Friend-Raiser! Chrysalis Ministries has been right here in San Antonio for a long time, since before most of us were even born! Founded in 1941 under the name Bexar County Detention Ministries by a small group of local pastors who provided worship services and pastoral counseling at the County Jail. Now led by a new generation of passionate individuals that not only see this as a job, but a personal mission. It is our desire to further expand our relationships and exposure in and with our community through new partners. We are seeking those that have a heart for people that have made a wrong turn and genuinely want to earn a second chance. Partners that understand incarceration affects the whole family.
